巴黎夜未眠

Ten days in Pairs, I really feel time flies. Lulu and I have known each other for more than ten years, and we have not met around 5 years. We have changed a lot but we remained a lot of things also.

Basically we did not sleep well during the past ten days, the normal schedule of us is felling asleep around 8 or 9 in the morning, waking up around 1 or 2 in the afternoon, then going out, coming back home around 12pm. Linger in the city, have coffee and dessert in the nice café and restaurant, famous church, famous art, famous building. All the nice things make me remember big Paris.

Just by chance, I met Fenni in Paris also. We went to Disney together, and had a really nice dinner in the current no.1 French restaurant. (Really love it!!) Talking about the common friends in Stockholm, taking about the life during the past four years after we came to Sweden, we really feel people come and go, but the friendship never ends.

Maybe this time, I am more like a resident living in Paris, not like a tourist. Discussing the normal life in Pairs, making hot pot with nice friends, all these activities are just the same for all the oversea Chinese. Lulu’s apartment is around 15 minutes away from the center, so I am not so afraid of the complicated Paris map. On the contrary, I think I like the complicated map.

But I really don’t like the large crowd in the public transportation. All these remind me the crowded Peking subway. And I think after four years in Sweden, I have changed to be a calm and peaceful person. Not a cold heart, but definitely I don’t like the crowded city any more. So now I totally understand why so many Swedish go out in the young age, but come back after few years.

There are so many nice and charming places in the world, but there are not so many places where we want to live. We choose something and meanwhile we must give up something else.
